Sheer Drapery and Curtains
Sheer Drapery can have the effect of instantly brightening up a room by allowing the right amount of light into a space. The ability as a style to traverse the lines of style Sheer Drapery is at home with almost any style and design. In fact many designers utilize sheers in a layering strategy so that the heavier panels can stay open except when blackout is needed.
Sheer drapery fabrics are available in many colors, textures, patterns and even materials. They can be sewn into almost any type of drapery treatment although they are primary used for panels.
Some of the treaments that commonly are sewn into sheers are Pinch Pleat and Ripplefold Drapery. One of our best sellers in Toronto condominium blinds and drapery is to use the ripplefold sheers as they fit very tight when they are pushed open to the side and traverse easily. A great option similar to ripplefold is the Hunter Douglas Luminette which combines a sheer with either room darkening or light filtering louvers.
Sheers should be made custom unless you are buying cheap ikea style tab tops. Getting exactly the right fit can be difficult and sheers cannot easily be remade due to the delicate nature of the fabric.
At Blinds Direct Canada we design, measure and manufacture custom sheer draperies, let us know what you need and we would be happy to help.
