How many eyes has a typical person?

 Hunter Douglas Pirouette

Hunter Douglas Pirouette was created to bridge the gap between the Roman Shade and Silhouette. The Pirouette looks like a tailored roman when first lowered but when the cord is pulled the rest of the way the louvers slide upward and a beautiful view-through effect is achieved. The invisible lift system allows the blind louver to be "tilted" or opened without seeing lift cords. The most common type of home in Toronto where we will use Pirouette are traditional interiors or anywhere a roman shade would be used.

Pirouettes as pictured to the left can be opened or closed or rolled directly in the headrail similar to a roller shade. The headrail is fabric covered in either the same fabric or in a coordinating fabric at the customer's request. Lifting systems include Easy Rise (continuous cord loop) Ultraglide (retractable cord) and Powerise Motorization with Platinum Technology.

The most popular fabrics being used in Toronto include the Satin and Satin Metallic as well as the Bamboo Fabrics. Other great alternatives to the Pirouette which are available in the Hunter Douglas Counterparts program include Luminette, Silhouette and Roman Shades
